Useful article in the NY Times concerning same sex prenuptial agreements.  The logic applies equally well for a same sex postnuptial agreements.

Best point in the article - For a small fraction of what a fully litigated divorce would cost, a pre or post nup eliminates many of the contentious issues surrounding a divorce.  Therefore, litigation expenses are reduced and the divorce process is much less adversarial.  

Ain't that a good thing?
